IMPORTANT: Transition Tips are not applicable for Frisolac
Please use the following steps as a guide:
1. Start by using your child’s favorite milk bottle or learning cup
2. Take a firm and consistent approach to help your child establish a new healthy change towards the acquired taste.
Your child should be accepting the new taste with 8 feedings across a minimum duration of 4 days
3. Take a break if the situation becomes tense but do not give up
4. Keep the formula warm and re-offer within 1 hour after the break (milk formula needs to be disposed of after 1 hour)
5. Mix the new formula with cereals to ease your child into accepting the improved formula
6. Gradually introduce the new formula by each feed.
If you have the old formula, you may transition the child with 2 scoops of the old formula with 3 scoops of the new formula. We understand from some parents that it can take anytime from 3-5 days to fully transition their child into the new taste (of course it depends on the child).
